To craft a Ladder, you just need a few sticks.

How to craft Ladder in Minecraft

#1 Collect 7x Stick

You can craft 4x Stick by placing 2x Planks of any wood type in the crafting grid, following the column shape.

1x Stick can be crafted by using the same recipe but replacing the Planks with Bamboo.

You can also collect Stick by breaking leaves and dead bushes.

They have a medium chance to drop 0-2x Stick on broken.

Witches also drop 0-6x Stick on death. Killing it with a Looting III sword can give you up to 15x Stick.
